EMPLOYEES
Mercuria is proud of its diverse and talented workforce. Our employees are the reason for our
strong reputation and successful track record. Creating long term relationships with the individuals
that make up our team is very important to Mercuria’s Leadership; we strive to achieve this through
offering challenging and rewarding career paths with boundless opportunities to learn and develop. It
is expected that Mercuria employees reflect our culture and values through their work and interaction
with one another, as well as with our external stakeholders.
We work hard to maintain a working environment where all employees feel they can contribute to
Mercuria’s growth and success with the full respect of their peers, without experiencing harassment
or discrimination. Employees are treated equally and with the utmost dignity regardless of race or
nationality, religion or belief, gender or gender identity, age, disability or sexual orientation. To ensure
diversity, inclusion and equality are at the heart of our business, the values we expect exemplified by
employees at all times are listed in our “Diversity and Inclusion Policy” which forms an integral part of
our employee agreements.
We recognise that the only way to build a team of the highest performing professionals is to be able
to attract and retain a diverse workforce. In our quest to design the most innovative and creative
market solutions, we are keen to be able to draw upon the broadest range of perspectives, making our
commitment to diversity and inclusion all the more important.
Mercuria has a comprehensive whistleblowing policy which encourages employees to raise concerns
without fear of any repercussions to them or their career. All employees have direct lines of communication
with any member of the management team should they want it. We operate a very flat structure and
all of Mercuria’s management team actively encourage communications with all employees within our
company. Across the globe our management team sit at desks within our open plan workspaces. We do
not have individual offices within our working environment.
